Before I even get into this, I just want to say that I hope each and every one of you had an AWESOME Mother’s Day and were celebrated in the way that you deserved! Some days kids can be perfect angels. Other days, eh, not so much. For the sake of my sanity, I am thoroughly hoping that my kids are the latter today, because after last night and this morning, I feel like I’m going to lose it. To elaborate, here’s my #momlife story of the day:
New Year’s Resolution or nah?
New Year’s Resolutions have never really been my thing. I have seen so many people that decide that they want to make a change at some point throughout the year, and for whatever reason they choose to wait until the New Year. From a young age, I have always had the desire to be a mom. I also knew that I wanted to be a stay-at-home mom. When I had my oldest, I just didn’t see that luxury in my cards. Four years later, and here I am: full-time blogger, part-time social media evaluator, author, and getting ready to start a business! As you can imagine, my day-to-day life is pretty hectic. There is a lot of research involved in my day, along with being a caretaker to my littles, homeschooling, working, and also trying to make time for myself. One of the most common questions I get is, “How do you manage working from home with kids?”
Short answer: GOALS.
To get back in the swing of things, I have decided to host a blogging challenge for the entire month of May!
23 years ago, on this very day, a legend was born. Just kidding. It’s my birthday, though. And in honor of my 23rd birthday here are 23 random facts about me.
With Easter quickly approaching, we have been receiving numerous invitations to attend different Easter Egg hunts. I have also been receiving messages asking what I am putting in my kids Easter baskets. Our family does not participate in Halloween, and my children know that Santa is just a character. Yes, at the ages of 2 and 4. And the Easter Bunny doesn’t visit my kids either.
