Lana’s Top Smoothie Picks!

Since cutting out dairy from my diet recently, the kids and I began a morning routine of making smoothies together! I always let the kids name our new creations and today I want to share Lana’s top 3 with you!

Yummy Yummy Cinna-nummy

First off, this is our most recent addition to our breakfast options and probably my favorite also! It tastes JUST like a cinnamon roll, but dairy-free and best of all, GUILT-FREE!

Ingredients:

  • 1 overripe banana
  • 1 cup non-dairy milk (can be substituted with a dairy milk if you choose!)
  • 1/4 cup Old-Fashioned Oats
  • 1 Tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

 

Funky Reese

Any type of peanut butter and chocolate mixture has always been a part of my heart. No surprise, the same is true for my kids! The “funky” part comes in with the spinach, in case you were wondering! We use this recipe for breakfasts, snacks, and even desserts, because it is THAT good.

Ingredients:

  • 2 overripe bananas
  • 1 1/2 cups Silk Dark Chocolate Almond milk
  • 1 cup Old Fashioned Oats
  • 3 Tablespoons Peanut Butter
  • 2 Tablespoons Ground Flax Seed
  • 1 handful Organic Spinach

Now, we usually make a big batch of this one, so for one person you can cut this recipe in half.

Spider-Man Super Berry Smoothie

Since receiving some Spider-Man shoes as a gift, Ace has had a crazy obsession! Although, not sure exactly how Spider-Man got tied in with this smoothie, I would have to agree that it is pretty super!

Ingredients:

  • 2 overripe bananas
  • 1 cup Almond milk
  • 2 cups frozen blueberries
  • 2 handfuls Organic spinach
  • 2 Tablespoons Peanut Butter
  • 2 Tablespoons Ground Flax Seed
  • A sprinkle of cinnamon
